Blog Schedule
I want this blog to cover a wide range of topics, from formally written academic posts to chatty reviews and behind-the-scenes updates. As much as I love academic analysis, I don’t want to limit myself to just that. This blog is a space to explore Anne Boleyn and the Tudor era in creative and accessible ways.
For now, I’ll be posting two to three times a week at approximately noon (GMT), with each post dedicated to a specific theme. While I may tweak the schedule over time, I’m happy with this approach for now. This blog is a stepping stone into more serious historical work, and I’m excited to dedicate as much time as I can to it outside of my studies.
Here’s the current schedule:
Monday: Media Review
This will take a conversational tone as I review a piece of media related to Anne Boleyn or the Tudors. Whether it’s a book, film, or TV show, I’ll dive into what works (and what doesn’t). My first review will be of the 2008 film, The Other Boleyn Girl.
Wednesday: Main Blog Content
This will be the heart of the blog: formally written posts that explore Anne Boleyn and the Tudors. These posts will focus on historical analysis, discussions, and anything fascinating relating to the 16th century.
Friday: Dissertation Updates
Occasionally, I’ll share updates on my dissertation – research progress, challenges, and exciting discoveries. While these posts won’t appear every week, they’ll give you a behind-the-scenes look at my work.
Bonus Posts: On This Day (OTD)
From time to time, I’ll share posts commemorating significant Tudor dates.
